Chail hill station is located in Himachal Pradesh, India. This place is famous for its beneficial heavenliness and unspoiled or untouched forests. The Chail Palace is popular for its architecture: the palace was made by the Maharaja of Patiala as summertime draw back throughout the British Raj. The cricket ground and a Polo ground was accepted by pastmonarchal family of Patiala which is there at an elevation of 2,444 m and it is the world’s highest cricket ground as well. Also,Chail is visited by climber as it offers marveloussites of the bottom Himalayas. It has finehikingspots from Kufri, Ashwani Khad and Jungaat Solan. Several Eco camps are clasped here. There are many camping sites for climbers and campers, so camping in Chail is almost covetedpursuits forfanatics.

History behind Chail:

Maharaja Rajendra of Patiala sustained the trend of Lord Kitchener in 1891. It led to the limitation of his entry within the Saint Martin’s summer capital, Shimla. This incensed the Maharaja and he promised to create a replacement summer fall back for himself. So, he renovated Chail as per his needs. After accession to the Indian Union, Maharaja of Patiala donated most of his buildings to Chail Military School and Government of India.

Geographic Location:

Chail is installed at an elevation of 2,250 m. The place is encircled by the forests of gigantic deodars and chir pine. Solan, Kasauli, Shimla may be viewed at nighttime from Chail. Chail is enjoyable in summers and cold in winter and yearly rainfall is about 150 mm.

How to Reach:

Through Road : Chail is connected by road from Chandigarh, Delhi and Shimla. From Shimla through Kufri the distance is 45 kilometers and through Kandaghat the distance is 49 kilometers. We can go by regular buses runs between Chail and major cities like Shimla, Chandigarh and Delhi.Shimla is the closest airport at a distance of 63 kilometers by Air. Shimla, 63 km from Chail, is connected by narrow sized line with Kalka which is distance of 86 kilometers which in turn is connected with the major cities in India by train. Chail is 44 kilometers from Shimla and 45 kilometers from Solan.

Nearest Railway Stations:

Kalka-Shimla railways, the railroad line is sweet for coming to Chail. Toy train runs on this World Heritage Site. Nearest train station to Chail is Kandaghat. Kalka & Chandigarh is the major railway stations connecting trains to all major cities.

Nearest Airports

The nearest airports are at Chandigarh is the distance of 120 kilometers and Shimla. Shimla Airport is noticed at Jubbarhati which is the distance of 37 kilometers from Kandaghat.
